New OC- Lodestar

So I just started drawing digital art on a program a few friends suggested to me. Obviously, it's not that good right now, but I wanted to show you all my first digital drawing. This is my new OC Lodestar since I decided that I really wasn't like Rivet much. While he's cool, he's just not me, you know? Anyway, the most obvious change about Lodestar from Rivet is that he has no wings. That's right, he's an earth pony! 

I can't wait to draw more and work on my skills. Maybe in a little bit I'll pick up how to shade and how to actually draw well
